I'm doing a travel brochure for the North-European Tundra, and I have to make an energy pyramid. I have Arctic Foxes on there, but I'm wondering, is there any animal that lives in the northern part of Europe that eats Arctic Foxes? (or snowy owls, ravens, or weasels)

  1. I wouldn't be surprised if Golden Eagles occasionally prey on arctic foxes. Other potential threats to foxes would be Polar bears, and Wolves. I had a friend who was working in the subarctic in Canada and he witnessed a lynx attack and kill an young arctic fox. I would imagine that young foxes are at risk to most of the predators mentioned above. Snowy owls are usually more rodent and small songbird hunters.

  2. nope i think they are top predators. Mind you ravens and snowy owls would probably eat dead foxes.  (sorry to mess up your pyramid)
