You only live for 80 years in this planet. Pursuing material things, does it matter?

In this hungry-power world does postion matters that much? Everyone is so eager to get richer that in the process they forget the true essence of life.

In the end, they might have reached a certain level of status. but realise this, there is no end to being satisfied to how powerful you are right now, the more powerful you get the more you want.

In a short jiffy of years, you spent most of your life trying to achieve something but in the end, resulting in yourself fast fowarding your entire life without sitting down to think what you want in life.

Theres this saying of a guy in his death row.

You can be a king or a street sweeper, but everyone dances with the grim reaper.

  1. The wealth and power mongers just don't seem to get the old saying, "you can't take it with you". Greed is like drinking salt water, you just end up even thirstier rather than satisfied.

  2. if everyone in this world thought like that then we wouldnt have or seen what you see today. the purpose of life is to enjoy, expierience and learn new things. 80 years is a long time. there are plenty of things you can learn and try.  and this is why purpose and goals are important. because when you set goals for yourself, when you have purpose of what you want in life then you know what you're living for, you have hope and the courage to live! enjoy and experience life when you can so that you wont regret what you havent done.

  3. In the grand scheme of things, life doesn't matter at all.  We're born, we live, we die and the world goes on spinning.  But life can still be worthwhile if you enjoy it.  If your circumstances make your life miserable, you're screwed.

  4. When I was a child all I wanted was to be left alone. People were attack dogs.

When I was a teen I wanted to be popular. People were love. No amount was enough and I wasn't very popular. Also anybody who liked me went down in my estimation. Groucho Marx syndrome.

When I was a young adult all I wanted was to escape reality. Reality caught up.

In my middle years I wanted to dress correctly, speak correctly and do whatever it took to be invisible.

Now I just want to be helpful and to forget myself.

How did I miss all that money and power stuff. I must have been asleep during that class.

When I turn to dust and part company with the Earthly flea circus, I will say "Good Riddance!" And they probably will feel the same about me.

  5. ...only if you care...and even some times there are doubts...
