Ouija boards work on slight motor reflexes it is not ghosts or spirits. Penn and Teller did a great job of debunking them on B#llsh#t!

So it you do it alone you will be controlling it.  And who will write down the answers?

The ouija board will not work very well if you play it alone, but as Scrabble or Monopoly do not work very well if you play them alone.  The ouija board is just a game that you can buy in most toy stores and department stores, an ordinary piece of wood or plastic or cardboard.  It is meant for two or more players so it will not work very well if you try to use it alone.  It has no supernatural powers.  The people using the ouija board make it work through ideomotor movement.  It plays on your mind and imagination and your susceptibilities and beliefs and fears.  It can be scary because the imagination is a powerful thing, and can make you believe just about anything.  Here are a couple of links that discuss ouija boards and how to use them.

These boards are dangerous.  Even though they are man-made they focus negative energy and have negative results.  You are much more vulnerable alone.  Don't do it.

it can get messed up I'd say don't play with them at all but i know you will anyways.  I had a lot of scary c**p happen with them things many years ago.  never make light of what you are dealing with. friends and I did and that pointer thing went flying across the room and hit the wall it was during a party it could have hit someone in the head, creepy
