Does australia belong to british anymore ??

I wondering whether or not australia is considers as one of the british territories, or the british person is treated as the australian and reverse in both contries ??

Australia still fall under the "Commonwealth" Banner designated as having connection to the British.  This connection is however voluntary as we as a country still choose to keep our connections with Britain (plus then we can also participate in the Commonwealth Olympic games LOL).
