  1. yes. They are tropical.


  2. I live in Queensland about a five minute walk to the beach and at the moment it is bloody cold, less than 10 degrees Celsius as it's still winter here. Daytime temps have been below 20 degrees for a while now.

    I wouldn't be going to the beach unless it's in the midday sun.

    That being said, North Queensland is much warmer and that is why it's a popular tourist destination.

Depends where you go.  Any in Queensland are going to be beautiful and warm - however down in Tasmania you would have to be silly to swim at those beaches - even if they are stunning to look at!  Any main beaches you hear about (such as in QLD, NSW or WA) will be perfect for swimming at on a nice day.

  4. Queensland Beach's are warm to very hot all year round. In other states hot in summer cold in winter
