Does australia post, post letters on the weekend?

i am waiting for a letter but it did not come during the week. i was wondeing if it would come on the weekend

nope never see the posties zipping around on their bikes on saturday, wish they did though

The post office does not operate on the weekends or public holidays.

You will have to wait until the next normal working day.

The postman only works Monday to Friday, the only exception to this is for about 4 weeks prior to xmas when the postie works 7 days to keep up with the demand of xmas cards and the like.
