  2. No absolutley not. It is an antibiotic and has nothing to do with weight gain......it fights infection. read the info the pharmacist should have given you....since you have absolutlely no clue what your taking.

  3. do you mean zithromycin...any how ...if it is an anitbiotic...don't know why you would even be concerned ...your only taking it for 5 days....never heard of it causing weight gain

  4. All medications have different side effects on different people. It is possible that it could cause you to have increased appetite just as well as it may cause other people to have decreased appetite.

    So yes it COULD cause weight gain in some people....if you eat more than usual while taking it.



  5. From all the sites that I've looked at, no you cannot gain weight from this antibiotic. Perhaps it is caused by something else or other medications.

  6. It made me very nauseous personally. But I only took it twice just because it made me feel so sick :-/ I think it would make you loose weight more than gain any weight. But it probably depends most on your body and reaction to the medication.
