  4. Yes it totally does. It tells me that the person doesn't care much/is to lazy...overall it sets a horrible impression.  If the writing was beautiful and the spelling was not...well then...that would be an utter shame. Sometimes you can make a few spelling mistakes (like Supercalifragilisticexpialidoscious  XD jk) but after a while...

  5. Yes, but then I was a middle school English teacher. Every time I see an atrociously written question, I cringe and part of my brain edits it(and then I tell myself,"You don't have to do this any more!}. I never ever (well, maybe this time) answer poorly written questions. I urge one and all to just boycott these poorly spelled questions.

  7. If most of the piece is readable, it will be ok to mispell a FEW words, and they should be diffuicult words. I mean, if you mispell cat and you say kat, that counts. depends if you are talking about college or high school, in which spelling does count. Middle school and elementary school doesn't really matter. You can slip up if you are typing...
