  1. It depends on the driver. Some drivers skills are awful, to say the least, and the slightest break in concentration and they are likely to have an accident.

    Some people are capable of using a phone while driving and having no effect on their driving in the slightest.

    However, In the interest of public safety, there must either be an 'yes or no' solution, and in this case, it needs to be no. The government needs to focus on the 'lowest common denominator' and in that case, the person with the poorest driving skills arent capable of operating a car and talking on a phone.

    Altough I support any efforts toward safe driving, I dont support this ban. I would prefer to ban the lowest common denominator from driving, that would be far safer.
