  1. Do you have a Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood (CDIB)? Which tribe do you have membership in? Are you applying to a Tribal College or University?

    You probably won't get a free ride and you'll definitely have to document things.

    Here is a list of Tuition Waivers for Native American Students: http://www.menominee.edu/newcmn1/Financi... You'll notice that only University of Minnesota at Morris and Fort Lewis College (Durango, Colo.) offer free tuition for Indian students.  

    Even the Bureau of Indian Affairs' 'Higher Ed grant' for college requires a one-quarter minimum.


  2. No, race is not a big factor about getting into college.

  3. Unless you are on the Indian Rolls, then no, you're not getting a free ride.......even those who are don't always get a free ride.

  4. No!  There is basically no free rides to college except for scholarships, not for race.
