As long as you can reach the ground when stop, you'll have no problem.

you dont have to use it like a 1000 until your comfortable. look at ricky carmichael, hes a world champion on an rmz450 and he cant be taller then 5'6.

If you can reach the ground comfortably when you stop you should't have a problem. If its a 1000cc monster, it should be no problem because they are pretty close to the ground.
