  2. if you were going for a supervisory or management position then I think that it would show that youve been in a position of responsibility.

    Getting the job depends almost entirely on your social skills, and manner of speech.

  6. It might help to get you on an entry-level job.  Or maybe help with getting a place at college.  Once you've got a real job though - delete it from your CV.  Real-world experience and qualifications is what it's all about.  Trust me, I'm an interviewer.

    A chief officer or chief magistrate

    All of these options are positons of responsibility which should impress an employer.

    P.S.  From personal experience, being a prefect can be a miserable situation if those you oversee have no respect for authority.
