  1. It just means that maybe you practice the Golden Rule ( you know the bit about treating your neighbor as you would yourself) i.e. if you found yourself unexpectedly pregnant that you might want to have all options left open to you and no doors slammed in your face by people who feel  differently .   It is called freedom.  Is this "good"?  This is your call.  Does being anti-choice make you a bad person?  or pro life or whatever the

moniker is. Or does being pro life make you a good person? Maybe that just means that you feel moral codes are immutable, universal and it is not up to the individual person to judge for herself. And that if you found yourself unexpectedly pregnant that you would have only one option and you would expect your neighbor to have that same option.

Both live by the Golden Rule...it's just one person's Golden Rule gives no say to the other person.  What about a new moral code for the earth: TO EACH HIS OR HER OWN.?

  2. to other pro-choice people.

  3. Your going to come up against some clever deceptions,

beware of those people, there masters at twisting certain

indisputable facts, similar to what corporations do with

advertisement, example, you should buy my product

cause it's family oriented, so bang you run and buy it,

only to have it recalled and find out stupid as they

seem, even the adams family would've picked up

on the true motivation behind the advertisement . . .

I mean what better gimmick to use than a proclamation

of love for a child and the betterment of the family unit,

in order to insure a sucessfull sales pitch in the mind of

    the consumer . . .

Point being it's not a question of determining whether

your good or bad, especially by outsiders, concerning

something as personal as what goes on in your body,

forget pro choice, by right it should be appropriately called,

personal choice, i mean your the one deciding according

to your situation what necessary steps must be taking,

afterall we're talking about a decision with an intimacy

attached to it, an expectation of privacy as the law states

if you will, you have every right to decide by your standards

about what goes on in side you enacted and alloted to you

as a woman, by the law that started it all, called natural

standards according to natures law not societies super

impose gestapo techniques of cohersion and judgmental

    fear tactics . . .

Your decision must be based soley in accordance with

your standards not socieities distorted agendas . . .

good luck to you what ever you decide . . .

  4. No, it just makes you intelligent.

  5. no pro life is waaaaaayyyyyyyyyy better

  6. It makes you a realistic and logical person.

...and how many "PRO-LIFE"ers have adopted children?

...and how many "PRO-LIFE"ers am I supporting through taxes for their welfare?

...and how many "PRO-LIFE"ers are just ignorant, religious conformist freaks that think the bible is literal?

    BTW- it's called a fetus (a group of cells), not an"innocent baby", you god-fearing, guilt-ridden a$$holes!

  7. In a way it might be because you support a woman's right to make the decision for herself along with her doctor. I think the government should stay out of it. Society has real problems. If resources were infinite then would this even be an issue or problem? Resources are finite.

  8. Depends on how you mean 'good' but, I don't really think supporting the murder of innocent babies makes one a good person....

greedy1004 - you're an idiot and your denial doesn't change the fact that it's murder. For your information I'm trying to adopt a baby and so is my sister. We're both pro life. So before you sit on your pedestal and judge maybe you should get the facts first -- like the baby being aborted feels pain. If that doesn't bother you, you're a cold hearted person and i sincerely hope that you aren't in charge of anything breathing.

  9. Only if your choice is to NOT kill the baby!

  10. No it makes you a murderer of babies.

  11. don't let our superficial culture tell you what is right or wrong?

  12. Where is the choice of the baby???

Fetus (for those in denial) if you must sterilize 'baby' to make the choice OKAY.

  13. Political positions do not automatically make you good or bad.

  14. Neither viewpoint makes you a good or bad person. The decision to have an abortion is so personal, and so difficult, and based on your own beliefs of religion and what constitutes a human life that neither side holds a monopoly on being 'good'.

I do believe, however, being pro-choice - even if you're anti-abortion - makes you a more open-minded one, and capable of emphasizing with others who might make different decisions than you would in the same situation(Or an understanding you can not comprehend, fully, what their situation is).

  15. No it make you and accessory to murder. Thats jail time baby. Maybe if we did that people would think twice before going thru with it.

  16. That, alone, is not the reason a person is good or bad. Many times, through our limited perspective, we form beliefs and make choices that are harmful to ourselves and to others without even realizing just how dangerous this type of thinking is.  I was once pro-choice. Thankfully, I have never been pregnant, so I was spared from making a decision I would spend a lifetime regretting.  Did that make me a bad person? No, but it most certainly did not make me a good person!

However, it is ironic that the same people who tend to be pro-choice are more concerned with saving trees and animals, then they are with human lives.

There is literally a car in my complex that sports these two bumper stickers (in addition to many others):

    Meat is murder.

    Pro-Choice.

Do you see a conflict here?  Certainly this is a degradation both of morals and of the value of human life!

As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one. Romans 3:10

As for being a good person or a bad person, "for ALL have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23

"While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

So, the bottom line is we are ALL in need of a Savior, for forgiveness of our sins!  Thankfully, Jesus laid down His life for us and all we have to do is embrace Him will all the strength that is in us, because He is our lifeline!!! Grab hold and don't let go!
