I'm also taking regular doses of vitamins B-complex, C, E and fish oil and one of the bottles there say that if the person's under medication, he should consult a physician first. Will taking all these vitamins and being on the pill affect its effectiveness? Thanks!

  1. When you see a physician or do anything involved with your health a question on that sheet you have to fill out is, are you on any medication if so specify. Birth Control pills are prescribed by a doctor and is medication that you take so I would say yes. I don't think it is serious but the next time you see a physician ask them and see what they say. I'm sure its okay. I take BC + Vitamin B and I am fine!

  2. YES!

  3. yes, i know for a fact that some if not most herbal medicines can make the pill not as effective, therefore increasing your risk of falling pregnant......but ask your doc on what vitamins/herbals products do this as not all do it...i know that st. johns wort does intefere with the pill, but if the label says to consult your pc then its worth a shot to be safe! and whenever going for anything medical related always state you take the pill.....etc
