I had ear problems when i was little and have had numerous surgery's on the actual ear drum from 6-8 yrs old and i have realized it take me longer to process questions and find it difficult to keep up with conversations

  1. i was deaf up to the age of four, i have never been great at english (still get 4's on AP test), but i have always excelled in math.  It also took me a while to learn how to talk/speak, but once i learned i was fine.  I have never liked music though.
