  1. only if you were registered to vote

  2. Not if your HOR is listed as somewhere else.  Change your HOR and you will be considered a resident of CA.

  3. For what ? If a background check Yes. To register to vote yes.

    Vet-USAF

  4. If your asking if being stationed in cali will let you collect unemployment in cali.

Then the answer is yes and no.

You can file the paperwork in cali,

But you will be paid, based on your home of record.

Think of it this way, if you haven't been paying cali state tax's, then your not a cali resident.

  5. I have only been in New Mexico with the military for a month, and I'm already enrolled in a NM college with in-state / resident tuition, have my car registered here, and am registered to vote.  When my old drivers license expires, all I'll have to do is bring 2 bills with my NM address to the MVD. I don't know what other things being a resident entails, but its been a pretty simple thing for me to get everything switched over.

  6. The way you get residents is if you register some thing there in your name. Like a car, house, id, ect.

  7. it depends, if you live on base and still have your home of record listed somewhere other than california then it does not. but if you live off base and have established residency, then it does. check the california dmv website and it should give you more specific answers. also you could check with base legal.
