Does bicycling make you more muscular or thinner?

In 4 days i am going to California for about a week. I am going to be biking a lot. I am going to try to jog as often as i can during the week. does biking burn fat, or make you more muscular. Details would help:) I am 15 weigh 116 or 118 (changes often never over 120) and i am 5'2 am i a healthy weight? I want to be 110 by the end of the summer. Thanks a lot hope you can answer all my questions. <3

o and i do exercise each day like jumping jacks, swimming,push ups, and so on..

  1. Well, Just look at the bicyclists during a marathons and such,

    they&#039;re all so thin! most of them aren&#039;t bulked up, like runners

    at the olympics, they&#039;re also very slim, biking will not make

    a person have overly muscle build up, but if you are biking

    past being worn out, then you will build up muscles. Like being

    tired and then biking etc.


  2. In general cycling is very good for weight loss and toning, not building leg muscle.
