  1. I do not think F1 technology actually outweighs the drivers, as this season the lap times are on par with last season; also the drivers or riders ability is needed to get the best out of the machine.

For ordinary guy riding a racing bike or an F1 car certainly we then cannot overcome the bike or cars ability.

I would like to take the Silk Cut Jaguar down the Mausanne straight at Le Man though

  2. No.

No amount of tech will ever beat true talent.

F1 dropped so much of there technology to save their sport.

WSB & AMA [DMG] aside, bike racing does not need saving.

  3. The sheer nature of a bike, in that it is inherently unstable and will simply fall over if left to its own devices, means that for as long as a human being is required to get on the thing to make it move and change direction, then technology will not outweigh ability - in my opinion.

  4. No, Not now not ever. Like the simple saying Traction control means less drive out of the corner. There is a question awhile back when Neilggti gave a beautiful explanation of how there are limits to what can be done to improve a bikes performance. where things like down force and G force don't come into play with Bike tech.

so like everyone else its a definite NO.
