Does bipolar disorder make a difference in academics?

Do people with bipolar disorder have more trouble with post high school education than those who don't have a diagnosed disorder or in other words ar mentally sound.

  2. My ex was bipolar and had a PhD in medicinal chemistry. Unfortunately she couldn't hold down a job because her life was in constant turmoil.

  3. well i have bipolar disorder and ended up dropping out of high school my senior year. my lowest lows were what brought me to it. i was literally too depressed to stay a whole day in school, and when i was even in class i would just be too depressed to do any work. but when i was angry, i would argue with anyone who would cross my path. i even punched a girl. of course this is just one person's opinion, but i would say in some ways that i am sure it does.
