I started taking birth control because i had irrregular periods, and I just heard that it made you gain weight. I think i did notice a weight gain, but that could be because i was started on it during the winter months, which is when i gain weight because its too cold, and theres wayyy to much snow to go outside much where i live

  1. yeah birth controls make you gain weight some more then others.

  2. A lot of people are going to answer this and say yes, but I heard a doctor saying that it's just a myth.

They've done studies, and using birth control DOES NOT make you gain weight.

The truth is, a lot of women have used that as an excuse when they put on pounds, for whatever reason.

    But it's not the pills.

So ignore all the answers that are going to come in, saying "yes, it makes you gain 10 pounds" or whatever, because this is an urban myth that has been disproved by REAL SCIENCE.

P.S. I LOVE your avatar! Is that a Waterhouse painting? He's my favorite, and that girl in his paintings is my ultimate fantasy girl!!!!! mmmmmmmm!
