  1. no i don"t think so.as caffeine springs up cancer while black tea is good for health and i guezz prevents skin cancer. anyway hope u got it! so dash out & get ur steaming cup of black tea now......

  2. about half as much, slightly less

  3. No it does not. Black tea has 50mg per serving and coffee starts at 85mg per serving.

  4. It all depends on the brand of the tea. In general tea usually has less caffeine then coffee.

  5. nop

  6. Levels vary between varieties of tea but tea usually contains much less caffeine and even less actually gets drunk because most people don't drink tea at it's maximum strength.

I'm a tea drinker and I find that a single cup of instant coffee (I used to drink it by the gallon) is too buzzy for me, which shows how much stronger the coffee is.

  7. The average cup of tea will contain about one quarter of the caffeine as an average cup of coffee. Now what is average? There is a wide range of caffeine content in different teas and different coffees. A more precise question can get you a more precise answer.

  8. no it doesn't, but tea has other substances in it which make you feel more relaxed.  So you feel relaxed, but alert at the same time.  You won't get that jittery feeling you get from coffee when you drink tea.

  9. I doubt it.

Tea is never advertised as caffeine-indulgent, and is usually not found on the label. If curious, check the ingredients.

The list might look like this:

    Coffee

    Item, item, caffeine, item, item

    Tea

item, item, item, item, item, item, item, item, caffeine

There would be more caffeine in coffee, determined by the fact it's higher-up on the ingredient list.
