Does black makeup look okay on pale skin?

I have dark purple hair, blue/green eyes.

I was thinking of black eyeliner and mascara. I don't really do eyeshadow.

It can look nice but it matter what your facial features are shaped like. I would recommend a shade of Brown but if Black is what you want then you should try it and see but do not get liquid eyeliner if your pale because it will enhance your paleness but a pencil is softer.. Black mascara is fine, but black eyeliner will be too emo. So wear dark/soft brown eyeliner!

I'd go for a silvery grey, or charcoal grey, as black will make you look drained. My friend asked a make up woman the same thing and I'm glad she changed as it looks great!

Personally, I prefer dark greys to black. While black can look good it can also come off very trashy. Black mascara is great, but for the eyeliner I would choose a color that compliments your eyes (silver & gold are great tones for every eye color).

Dark grey might be better for eyeshadow.

I have fair skin and blue eyes and I always dye my eyelashes black so they stand out.

With purple hair, brown might look a bit wishy washy.

It looks okay, but try maybe a light purple for eyeshadow. Black Mascara looks great on pale skin.

If you are going for the goth look, then black make up is fine. It depends on how you apply and how much you apply. I would go for a dark brown instead

personally I don't think it would look good. Might come off as a little goth, dontcha think?
