Does blackberry curve 8330 have a touch screen?

i wanted to buy a blackberry from sprint. or i was going to get the centro. which is better?

BlackBerry doesn't have a touch screen phone available yet but the 8330 is FAR superior to the Centro. Palm devices are known for being laggy, buggy, and a hassle. Plus, Windows Mobile is awful and the Centro looks like it's for a young teenager. The BlackBerry is more sophisticated, simpler to use, and offers more customization than a Palm.

Edit: then the Palm might be better for you. Aside from being significantly more expensive than the Centro, the 8330 and BlackBerrys in general are not the toughest devices. So being banged around in a backpack might be very harmful if you aren't careful. I know the Treo is a strong enough phone but the Centro just seems and feels really, really cheap. And ignore "princess" because the new BlackBerry phones coming out later this year will put everybody else's to serious shame (not that the Curve didn't steal the spotlight enough). She should do some research before talking about things like that. BlackBerrys are excellent phones and certainly not "old" or passé.

Well the centro would make you purchase a data or internet plan for everything. So that would be expensive unless you could afford it. The Blackberry lines of phones yet do not have a touchscreen sadly. =(

But I would recommend a Blackberry. The Centro has some problems with the small cramped qwerty keyboard. While the Blackberry has a wide outspread and large buttons.

I would get the centro just b/c it's the new thing. Blackberry's are old style, and centro are touch screens, just like the iphone. I was wondering the same thing, but I just made up my mind up, that I will get the centro, it's the new thing. Blackberry's and Centro's don't have that big of a gap of differences, only little ones.
