Drugs stay in your hair follicles for years which is why it's one of the best methods to check for drug use.  Also one of the more common ways to check for marijuana use is the golden flow.  I don't think it stays in your blood stream.

As in the actual blood screening process... it will only show if the Dr. or facility specifically orders it to be done, but just a regular blood test at the Dr. office with their being no reason to ask for the screen to be "for marijuana specifically" then it simply is NOT screened for that, therefore it will not be dectected.
