I was told that a person gets over weight far much faster if he eats food regularly that is against his blood type, while the one eating sumptuously everyday that are well suited to his blood type could remain fairly well trimmed according to his height. This is to say, if a person knows the right food to eat, the body will stay slim and healthy. However, this doesn't mean that he should avoid taking other nutritious food. The medical experts will have to be able to detect our perfect diet that should be consumed individually of certain variety and volume of food (according to his height and his daily activities) that correspond to his blood type? Is this true?

  1. I don't believe this one. I think it's just a way to sell some books, preying on the wide spread obesity epidemic. I think that the only effective way to lose weight is to eat less and move more.

  2. There is a book about diets for blood types. It is based on pseudoscience. Absolute rubbish. It needlessly restricts consumption of healthy foods particularly if you are type O. The good thing about this diet is that it says things like sweets and caffeine are bad for all blood types so of course anyone following it will loose weight if they cut out unhealthy foods. "Medical experts", nutritionists and dietitians do not regard this book as scientific or useful.

  3. Blood type has no effect on what we should eat daily. Thats almost laughable to even think.

  4. I find the idea ludicrous. A calorie is a calorie. The only difference in bloodtypes are antibodies. Food goes through the digestive system and small intestant, not directly into the bloodstream :)
