  1. Once you recover from an eye infection your vision will be normal, if your vision is realy blurry with contact still go get an eye exam and see if you need a new precscription (go to where you got your glasses).  However make sure your contacts are not the CAUSE of the infection, do you get new contacts when you have used a pair to long?  Or cleanse them everynight and leave them in solution when not in use?

  2. Usually, yes, but not always, no.

Some corneal infections can leave a scarred or irregular cornea, permanently reducing the best vision possible.

If vision has not returned to its earlier clarity, yes, for a teenager, a simple shift in prescription IS the most likely cause, but no, it's not as simple as that.

    A full examination is required.

  3. In case, as an individual, I would prescribe new contacts. You never know, the contacts might being causing the eye infection. But even if they aren't, be on the safe side and check with the optometrist and get new contacts. That's the best thing to do.
