  1. no b/c power doesn't come from your hands it comes from your hips and proper pivoting. it does meen that you need to take precautions to protect you hands... tape and gauze, wraps must be tight around your wrist, and more tape. there are boxer who have problems with their hands. I am not comparing them to each other just the two that first come to mind are Floyd Mayweather and Mahomed Ali.

  2. it means your hands will hurt very badly after a fight

  3. Yes, the stronger your hands are, the stronger your punch will be.  Do exercises to strengthen your hands.

  4. You can have a lot of power, but if your hands are going to hurt, even break, every time you punch hard, than you will be hitting with fear(SOFT). That fear can get in the way of punching someone hard since you are afraid you might break your hand.

  5. No. Brittle hands mean continuous injuries.

  6. Brittle hands doesn't mean no power , brittle hands means more likely to get hurt when hitting a target , Floyd Money Mayweather has bad hands and he continues to do well , (Ricky Hatton KO) its all in how you prepare and take care of the problem . Brittle hands mean easier to break ,swell and bruise them , But as far as power goes that depends on the puncher.

If Tyson had brittle hands does that mean he loses KO power. I think no , I think it would make him hesitate on swinging alot , but that's it.
