Does brown sugar ever go on sale?(in Canada)

Here in the U.S. there is only one brand of Brown Sugar I know of, hence there is no reason for it to be put on sale. If you want it, you buy it.

I am a former chef and here in Toronto I buy mine at the Bulk Barn or at one of the Dollar Stores in a 1 lb/500 gram bag, it is generally available cheaper around the end of October when people start baking for Xmas, I buy dark brown sugar for 79 cents a pound at the Bulk Barn if you do not have one, some of the grocery store sell it in bulk, but for a sale it is going to be in the fall for our Thanksgiving and the pumpkin pies then just the like Carnation Milk or around the end of November and Xmas baking season.
