  2. Caddying will not mess up your shoulder if the bag is carried properly and the straps are properly adjusted. If the bag is balanced properly, there is no problem.

I am a caddie, and what I have found is that with proper carrying technique, and resting while on the course combined with a good workout regimine...it is not a problem.  My heaviest days is about 70 pounds carrying a double, but most days we forecaddie, or go off the cart.  Most importatant is just taking care of your body.  Rarely will I carry for 2 rounds in a day as I want to rest my body.  Mostly you'll have issues with your back, and for this it is important to have a strong core.  Sit-ups, plank, and leg lifts are a great exercise.  As this is my career I take my body very seriously.
