please help me with my cheap boss, he keeps changing our terms as he sees fit, and although I'm already looking for another job I have to clarify this issue in the meantime. first, I work from home, and initially he just offered me 0,48 cents per mile, and did not pay for gas. now, after 9 months and me running circles around the two clowns he hired as sales managers, he's willing to give me a car allowance of USD 450 but no more mileage! I'm tired of arguing and getting threatened with termination, I know he's a winner but I can't let him get away with it.. he treats his staff horribly and I'm just happy to work from home! thanks!

  1. IRS has allowances for vehicle used for business purposes. if your employer does not reimburse at the IRS rates, you can probably deduct the excess expenses on your tax return.
