  1. yes

  2. If you have comprehensive insurance, it will be covered, but it is likely that you will have to pay an excess. There should be a section in your policy booklet called malicious damage, and it will tell you how much excess you will need to pay. You may also affect your no claims discount by claiming, unless the insurer can claim the cost of the repair back from the responsible party, (in which case you would need proof that she did it), so your premiums may go up as a result.

Your insurer will need a crime reference number from the police, and it may be advisable to photograph all the damage just in case you need it in the future. If she has done it once, she may do it again, and if you have evidence, you can show the police that it is not the first time.

  3. Comprehensive coverage will cover this, less your deductible.

If you haven't already, call the police and file a report. Next call your insurance agent and let them know what happened, they will take it from their and get your car fixed ASAP. Next comes the law suit. Because you know who is responsible, your insurance company will probably go after the ex for their losses.

You should also look into a restraining order. People like that are very dangerous.

I doubt the car is ruined, but it really depends on how much the car is worth and what the h**l she put in your gas tank.

  4. It will depend on your policy. Read all the fine print(unfortunately) and it should describe your coverage. Usually full coverage is to cover the other parties vehicle in the event of an accident but ALL policies very with different agencies..

  5. Comprehensive will cover this minus your deductible.  But, hopefully you have a police report and the insurance company will go after her to pay them back.

  6. Comprehensive coverage will usually cover that.  Check your policy and see what you've got covered.

  7. You will have to file a police report.

Vandalism is handled under comprehensive coverage.
