I got my ear lobe pierced, and I didn't think it hurt AT ALL. I wanted to get the top corner of my ear pierced, but half of my friends say it doesn't hurt, and the other half say it kills. From experience, how much does it hurt?

  1. it doesnt hurt at all its super quick and painless but after words its burns a bit and sleeping on that side will be uncomfortable

  2. i got mine done with a safety pin when i was in high school, and it hurt like h**l. but getting it done professionally probably doesn't hurt nearly that much, and most of my friends say it didn't hurt when they did their's either.

it probably depends on the person.

  3. It hurts more than getting your earlobe pierced. (this is coming from me and 5 of my friends with that piercing.)

  4. i got it done last year and it only stung a little

and then its kinda sore for a week and when you sleep on it

    hope this helped

    have a great day

  5. no it doesn't hurt

for about 30 seconds after it and thats about it ...

    i got mine with gun

even though people say you shouldn't - theres nothing wrong with getting it done with the gun ... its fine

gun - painless about 30 seconds thats it - i was leaning on it and messing about with it the first day i got it done

needle - mum got hers done she couldn't lean on her left side for about 6 MONTHS ... so guns better

and i got mine done about a month ago an its fine i just cant change it yet cause the butterfly is HUGE an its annoying

    good luck

    =]]

  6. Depends on how much pain you can take.

from 1-5 5 being the worst

    I would say 3-4.

  7. no, earlobes actually hurt more. it hurts on a scale 1-10. about a 1.

  8. I got mine done at a piercing place that came highly recommended online. I'd INSIST upon getting it done with a needle. It really doesn't hurt that badly, and guns can literally paralyze over half your face if they hit a nerve. And all of this is coming from a kid who screams and cries when she gets shots or sees needles. Mine felt like a pinch, and literally after one second, the guy said, "Okay, it's all good. The earring is in and I just have to put the back on." All I could think of was how you could possibly poke a hole and get a needle through someone's cartilage in *1* second, but he did. I wouldn't hold back if you really want it. Unless you're talking about getting it done with a gun. Anyone who gets their cartilage piercing done with a gun deserves to have half of their face paralyzed.

  9. the cartilage felt like a pinch.

i personally think its very tolerable.
