  1. No, that is an old wive's tale.  It will make you have diarrhea, though.

  2. depends on where you rub it. <=o

  3. castor oil does not do much

I looked it up (very old medical text book) and years and years ago women used to take this when they knew that they were close to make sure that their bowels were close to empty for when they gave birth

it seems like the reason got lost.

if you are ready to give birth

and if your doc says that it is OK to try.

when you have any contraction (even false labour)

have 1 cup of the following tea

DO  NOT DRINK ANY MORE THAN ONE CUP

as your contractions can become to strong

raspberry leaf tea stimulates the uterus and it can facilitate childbirth.

under your doctor's supervision, drink one cup of raspberry leaf tea wehn contractions begin.

NEVER DRINK THE TEA EARLY IN PREGNANCY!!!!!

    to make tea

1 tsp to one cup of boiling water

let it steep for 10 to 15 Min's and strain

drink at the first signs of a contraction.

  4. No Do not Take Internally l!  It is a source of Ricin, a poison!

Don't rub it on either if you're pregnant
