Does cellophane hair treatment damage hair?

No, cellophane treatments actually help your hair by sealing it. I just gave myself a cellophane treatment (clear) last week and my hair looks fantastic! I am very particular about my hair and won't put just anything in it. Now my hair is extremely soft, has much more slip and VERY shiny.

All you do is:
1. shampoo your hair,
2. towel-dry a bit,
3. section the hair and apply the cellophane to each section, combing through from root to ends
5. put a plastic cap on and sit under the dryer for 20 minutes
6. wait 5 minutes for hair to cool (or you could use the cool setting on your blow dryer - I've read that the cool air can enhance the shine)
7. rinse with warm water
8. shampoo and deep condition (Dominican conditioners are THE best)
