Does chan have any health benefits, purchased in Costa Rica?

You mean that drink in the market that tastes like tropical fruit and it's got seeds floating in it?  HA!  I drank it down there, and I told a woman from CR in my class that I'd liked it.  She said she would bring me some.  She brought a jar of the dry seeds.  I asked her if I was supposed to mix it with water and how come it had been like a tropical fruit drink in San Jose.  She said, "Oh, they mix it with Hawaiian Punch."

Anyway I think it's good for digestion.

It is supposed to be a good source of soluble fiber as well as

regular fiber.  

People in C.R. believe chan "freshens" your spleen.
