  1. That is where you're supposed to learn everything, isn't it??

  2. Yes.  Where else would you learn it?

School?  No, school is where you learn academic material, not moral or ethical things, not "right and wrong."

Friends?  No, that's a total roll of the dice - you could have rotten friends.

Church?  Sure...but it doesn't begin there.  Besides, if you don't go, because the home life doesn't value that...you wouldn't learn it anyway.

    Charity begins at home.

  3. Yes it does. I taught it to myself. Probably the only one in the family who does..but it sure does make me feel good.

  4. Charity begins within you... where you find the moment where you want to give towards charity is totally different for all of us.  The way that we are brought up, and our environment outside of our childhood home are significant contributors towards when each of us finds this moment.  The charities that we choose, as well as how we choose to give to them, are also influenced by our life experiences and the people that we meet...

However, charities are getting easier and easier to give to!  If you seek out opportunities... even ones where you wouldn't expect to result in a charitable donation to be given... you can find all kinds of ways to be sure that good charities get donations!

    1) For instance, there are tons of retail products in your stores that donate a portion of their proceeds to charity.

    2) There are more and more products and services that you can buy online which donate a portion of their proceeds to charity.

    3) Online social networks are beginning to have more and more charity donation "engines" which help to raise money for charities.

There are many opportunities for you to give to charity, even without actually spending your own money... you simply have to seek them out!
