i know he was a class player 2 seasons ago i don't think we need a player similar to lamps and ballack, i would love to see gattuso at chelsea or de rossi

no.chelsea doesn't need deco as lampar and ballack is just enough to be for the role of midfielder as you said

They don't "need" him. But with Chelseas cash they seldom buy someone out of need.

I think Scolari just bought him cos he knows what he's working with as they were at Portugal together.

He was a cheap transfer too, only about 8M! I was suprised about that!
