  1. absolutely!

  2. yes! actually I can't vouch for zataran's rice, but add some green beans with a sprinkle of the cajun spices...it'll be delicious. :)

  3. Of course.. but you know the simplest thing would be to add your chicken straight into the jambalaya mix. Read the box.. am sure it says what meats you can add. But just the chicken by itself seasoned with Cajun spice will be wonderful. Go with your tastebuds. Oh but better have a nice green salad along side to counter the heat.. Enjoy :)

  4. It surely will, aside from chicken you can also make your jambalaya with cubes of seasoned pork as well. For variety you may also try adding

some sliced sausage into either mentioned meat dish.Simply cook down the chicken, pork or sausage.Drain excess grease and add to your Zataran's mixture.I fry down the sausage first then remove then add either the chicken or pork and brown.Remove excess grease and combine all of the mix and cook per directions on package.

A few idea's for sides would be "Black eye peas,

    sweet peas,baby Lima's,cream style corn,or potato salad.

    Enjoy your meal

  5. If your chicken is highly spiced, you may want to stick to something not-so-spicy for your sides.  You don't want to go overkill on the Cajun and do "cajun everything" or have a bunch of highly spiced items on the plate.  Maybe a simple red beans and rice and greens would be better as sides, and really make that chicken stand out.

  6. Sounds great, what time.
