  1. Not necessarily but it appeals quite well to the conservatives that were questioning his liberal stances on the issues.

  2. No, it makes him an idiot.

But thank you Mr. Idiot for handing the election over on a silver platter.

  3. Not necessarily, but it gives him support with hilary supporters.

  4. No but it takes him down almost to the level of Osama.

    .

  5. No, wow you are REALLLLLY having to STRETCCCCCCCCCCCH things to come up with some type of half baked criticism.

  6. It makes him manipulative

and it makes him smart because Republicans are sheep and he sure knows how to herd those sheep.

  7. It helps a lot

  8. Its a tactical strategic move to pick a female. Obama will win on his merits.

  9. I supported McCain but I am very disappointed, and McCain's pick of Sarah Palin makes me question whether I can be a true Christian and vote for McCain and Sarah Plain.

Sarah Palin has a 4-month old baby with down syndrome. A baby, especially in the first year, needs the love and attention of both the mother and father. I am a mother and I can tell you that deep and important bonds are formed by a mother and infant, especially when you hold a baby 10-15 times a day for feedings. This is really important to a baby's development. I would never put my career -- no matter the title or money that was offered to me -- if that meant I couldn't devote myself to my child, especially in his first year.  Can Sarah Palin be a true Christian when she is putting her political ambitions ahead of her child?  Can McCain be a true Christian when he supports a mother who puts her political ambitions ahead of her child?  These are troubling questions all true Christians should be asking.

  10. He was smarter than Obama before and he is still smarter now. His decision shows that Obama is still too inexperienced for the job.

  11. he did pick someone who meets all the criteria for a republican candidate

she likes huntin' and fishin' and is willing to show her titties to the con men

  12. Shouldn't McCain be that on his own? Or are you saying he needs someone else to do that for him?

Is that what you are saying?

  13. it makes him an appeaser to the same forces he labeled as "agents of intolerance" just a while back.

Palin is a pro-life, creationist, beauty queen ditz who will fit in perfectly with the fundamentalist crowd.

  14. He's a neoconservative. Look at his voting record! He's not fooling me!

  15. It makes him a great decision maker. It makes Obama look very inexperienced.

  16. Better than Hussein Obama

  17. Why is it that the choosing of Palin it thought of as a pandering to voters and Biden is not?  Biden is on the ticket for one reason only to offset the total lack of any experience that Obama has.  That is just as much of a pandering move as the choice of Palin.  Obama talks of change and not wanting to be part of the same old establishment.  Think about that for a second.  What has he done that has been outside the box?  The pick of Biden was not outside the box but a person that has been in the senate for longer than McCain.  The same reason that the democrats are attacking Palin are the very reason that Obama should not be President.  She at least has had experience in leading a state, city, and being responsible for the leading of the state's national guard.  For that matter none of the other three have had to do any of that.

  18. I don't know about all that... buy it does make Him Smarter than Obama.

  19. Not really.. It balances the ticket with as strong conservative woman who has fought corruption in her own party and is a Washington outsider..

Talk about Change! McCain is the one  providing it ..

  20. No, but it surely is a great ticket.

  21. It is for support on his feminist resume. Women votes seem to be important, so he wants to take all the Hillary supporters from Obama.

  22. It certainly adds to that, as she is anti-abortion and anti-g*y marriage.

The choice is a blatant attempt to draw in women voters, as if Hilary supporters will vote for Palin purely because she is a women, regardless of the fact that her politics are in no way similar.

It's also a dangerous choice. She has NO foreign policy experience. If McCain becomes president and then dies (that's kind of what she's there for, what all VPs are there for), we're doomed.

  23. no it doesn't

  24. John McCain doesn't attend church, so he's not a Christian. This just shows how little regard John McCain has for the role of the Vice President to appoint someone with so few qualifications. She was Mayor of a town with 7,000 people. Kind of like appointing the mayor of Mayberry.

  25. yes it does, it shows that he wants to return to the grass roots way of our forefathers, not the radical, leftist, n**i ways that the Democrats want to lead us. Great move McCain.

  26. LOL...

And for a minute there, I thought McCain was going to have to choose Paris Hilton to boost his morale...

  27. You'd better learn to type out our future presidents name correctly.

    McCain 08

  28. dunno....but it certainly cooled of that post-Denver Egopalooza buzz pretty quickly...didn't it...?

  29. No, it makes him very smart!

  30. What is interesting is that Palin was not McCain's personal choice.  It was the persuasiveness of McCain's adviser that pushed Palin to the front only because Obama did not chose Hillary.  Everything I hear in the news refers to McCain's advisers time and time again over the past 24 hours.  So who REALLY wanted Palin?  The advisers!

Palin's family values are very hard for me to buy into though.  I am all for working moms and advancing your career.  But when a Nanny is raising your children, who is the one potty training, putting your child down for nap time, holding a puking head over the toilet?  Not Palin who is sitting in her office!  When does she have time to meet with her kid's teachers?  How about attending school events?  This is all the family value stuff I find it hard to buy into.  Sounds more like being a part-time mom.
