  1. The most useful use for baking soda is getting odors out of the air. Bad odors are essentially germs floating around in the air, so,  to some extent, yes it does.

    However, if you're looking for a natural germ killer that's a bit stronger, you can use white vinegar, lemon juice, rubbing alcohol (though I'm not fond of the scent), and lavender oil.

  2. Nope, baking soda does NOT kill germs. To kill germs, use vinegar or bleach.

  3. Not sure it kills that many more germs...but it does give you a fresher smell on your clothes when you add a cup to wash load.
