Does clomid stop your period?

Question

I take prometrium and clomid to regulate my cycle. Last month was my first cycle of clomid and it did not work (had an ultrasound to confirm). I usually get my period towards the last day i take prometrium, but it didn't come this month. I'm not pregnant. Has anyone else on clomid experienced this?

 Well I have tried to take clomid for 4 months now but it stops/delays my periods? This is the opposite to what should happen surely? Doesn't seem to help me at all - just makes things worse...
