Does coffee REALLY stump your growth?

im 5'4'' and i really want to be a model when i get older [im fourteen now]

i LOVE carmel frappacinos from starbucks. unfortunately where i take ballet...there is a starbucks right across the street...i cant resist!

i used to get one once a week but now that my mom told me it's possible that it could stump your growth, i avoid it...but i miss my carmel fraps xD!

  1. NO! It's a myth that coffee stunts growth....many people think that the caffeine will stop growth but this is FALSE.

    Think about this--chocolate is made from cocoa beans which is the main source of all caffeine and think about how much chocolate children/people eat and still grow into tall individuals.

    Consider that kids have been drinking more and more caffeine-laced sodas for the past 30 years, and yet the average height keeps increasing.

    It's funny how people cringe at the idea of an 8-year-old drinking a cup of coffee, but think nothing of a toddler drinking Coca-Cola.
