  1. No,not really, but if you add sugar, it increases blood sugar spikes, and makes you not feel hungry. So you don't end up eating the food you need.

  2. Yes, it does ACTUALLY.

    It's a form of diuretic.

  3. Not directly, but the amount you drink or the way you prepare it could trick your body into thinking you aren't hungry - so I guess it could in return make you lose weight ~ even though it hasn't for me! :)

  4. Coffee will provide a burst of energy and help curve or suppress one's appetite for snacks; however, this negatively effects the metabolism because the body is more efficient with real food + nutrients (especially 7 small meals a day rather than 3 big ones)... New studies have talked about the benefits of caffeine like helping memory w/ brain... moderation is the key with anything...

  5. No, it just raises your blood pressure like other vaso-constrictors found in other -ines like codeine, nicotine, etc.

  6. Coffee is a diuretic for many people, which can reduce weight from retained water. If you drink it black, you get no calories from it. If you were to substitute black coffee for other drinks and foods that contain calories, then coffee, like water, would keep you from adding weight.

To be skinny, you just have to eat very little. However you can accomplish that, using coffee or other means, will make you skinny.
