Everytime I have a cup of coffee I would have the 'sensation'. Is it due to the coffee or the milk?

  1. It's the coffee. I'm sure the milk doesn't help if you're sensitive to lactose.

  2. Yes, coffee does. The milk won't unless ur intolerant to lactose.

  3. coffee.

  4. It's the stimulant in coffee and that it's hot.

  5. Coffee is a stimulant, and thats why you have to go... also if you have it on an empty stomach, the acidity will increase the "upset" ness of your stomach.

  6. Coffee, I know several people that use coffee to keep regular.  Something to do with the stimulants in coffee

  7. Coffee does act as a mild laxative for some people. I drink 2 cups every morning... it almost always helps to give me the "urge." Any warm liquid can have this same effect.

  8. Here we go again..."Coffee gives me the craps.." Yes! If you are drinking the stuff off the supermarket shelf, or out of one of those "fresh" coffee bins. Or even when you buy some of the 'specialty' coffees. Why, because it is old, outdated, stale. It has oil in it from the natural roasting process and the oils get old and stale and RANCID. So, if it IS the coffee, it's usually for that reason.

EDIT: People using it to keep regular??? Why not save some money and drink rancid corn oil, or rancid Olive oil???

You're probably lactose intolerant. Fact of human life. We get weened from our mothers milk and 'train' ourselves to drink cows milk. Milk is food for infants not mature adults. We get all the vitamins and minerals we need from other sources.

PS...stale coffee???? anything older than 21 days off roast.

  9. oh my gosh i asked myself the same question too. I really do think it is because when i drink coffee i get the same feeling and i asked my coworkers and they agreed.
