Does comprehensive car insurence cover car brake failed then impact?

Hello I was cleaning the inside of the car and I was not inside. Car suddenly rolled back with the rear hatch open and the hatch got bent and wont close. I wasnt in the car when it happend. Would that be covered by comprehensive?

  1. That's collision your car HIT something comprehensive fire theft glass breakage and vandalism. doesn't sound like a comp claim to me it sounds like stupidity

  3. yes I would imagine that it would but it will effect your No claims bonus I imagine.

  4. I assume the vehicle rolled back into something which caught the hatch and bent it, it sounds like collision to me too, but either way I would assume you're covered.  The brakes probably won't be covered as thats maintenance but the damage you caused should be.
