Does concerta show up in a urine test? I know it isn't an amphetimine, so I don't know if it would show up. It is methylphenidate.

  1. As long as the drug you are taking has been legally prescribed to you, it will not matter if it shows up in a drug test.  If you are taking say a pre-employment drug screen they will and can screen for many drugs, but mostly illegal ones. If you do come back positive and can not prove that it has been prescribed for you then you could face the consequences of getting the job BUT if you are taking the drug under the advise of a doctor, there is not much they can do.

This drug is a Schedule II class controlled substance and is linked to addiction.  It very well maybe be found in a urine test, if someone is looking for it.
