Does continual correction really benefit in ESL/EFL . . .?

. . . realy benefit in ESL/EFL one-on-one tutoring? I have a Korean student who wants continual correction of her English as she practices speaking it. I find myself uncomfortable as to me it would be like constantly stopping someone while he or she were working out in a gym.

  1. I have several Korean students, with two separate students I conduct one-on-one training with, and I fully support continual correction.  I find them constantly in need of direction with sounds requiring them to pronounce "F", "L", and "R".  There are others that they often say wrong, but these three stand out the most.
