Does cornrows look good on white people?

i am white and thinkin about gettin cornrows...

a lot of people say cornrows dont look ok on white...

Okay.  First of all, let me say something about that first picture.  As a black person, who is from the hood, that picture is really offensive to me.  lol.  Seriously!!!!  That white boy got his lil cornrows and his stupid hand gesture and he thinks that makes him black and therefore ghetto.  That's fcuking stupid and just shows people's low opinions of black folk.  Either way, I don't think it's the fact that cornrows don't look good on white people - it's that white people don't know how to take care of cornrows properly.  Ya'll are trippin' thinkin you can WASH YOUR HAIR when there are braids in it.  No, no, no.  You cannot wash your hair, lol, it will look sooooo stupid if you do.  You cannot get it wet.  Tell them not to use that much grease when they do your hair, too, because ya'lls hair gets greasy real fast.  Black hair absorbs grease.  Also, don't pick at it and try to scratch underneath.  And when it grows out (it will grow out faster than a black person's hair will) TAKE THAT S**t OUT and stop trying to hang on to your cornrows when they look busted!  Also, ya'll gotta wear a stocking cap at night just like us.  Or your hair will get busted in one night, seriously.  Also, getting a good braid spray will keep those flyaway hairs down and stop it from itching.  Also it looks stupid on blond people.  If you do get cornrows, just realize that it ain't going to put you any closer to being black, ghetto or thugged out.  It's just a hairstyle.  Also cornrows aren't really IN right now.  It's more plaits and dreadlocks these days.

It looks fine.  Wear your hair how you are most comfortable.  I had cornrolls done and i am a WHITE FEMALE.  I was happy how it turned out and it kept me very cool this summer.

if you do get cornrows you have to put sunscreen on your scalp otherwise it will burn and you'll somthing like dandruff

I never really liked cornrows on anyone. I'm more into the loose braids type. Plus getting them put in, isn't a very painful procedure? I don't know if the look is worth it maybe if you really like them perhaps you can make them work.
