  1. I've had hyperemesis my entire pregnancy with VIOLENT vomiting.  Even with nothing in my tummy, my body will go through the motions again and again trying to rid something that's not there.  I had asked my doc if it was hurting 'lil peanut and he promised me that she has plenty of protection.  Since the body goes through similar motions when coughing, I would safely assume that a doc's answer would be the same, though bub is probably stirred by the cough, he or she is just fine in there.

  2. the baby should be fine, he/she is surrounded by fluid that protects it.

if you are still feeling uneasy about it, ask your doctor.

  3. the baby should be fine. I had a bad cough and sinus infection so bad when i was around 6 1/2-7 months pregnant that I actually coughed one day and promptly broke a rib. Wasn't any fun. I was worried about all of that as well but they said everything is fine.
