Does craig's list really work?

i was trying to contact 4 people on the sale of something and no one answered me.in your expierence does craig's list work?

It works, some people just leave their ad on the website even though it might already be sold (which is dumb)

It works, but some people, if the item is already sold won't answer you back.  Make sure you leave an email address though so that they can if they want to.

I have found the site itself to be dependable, but the people on the site not so much! Often folks won't get back in a timely fashion or keep appointments (esp. when offering to purchase an item). I've come to accept it as part of the site, and always keep many "irons in the fire" so to speak when buying or selling.

i just sold my first item on it this saturday in less than 24 hours after i first posted it. it does work but beware cuz there r a lot of scammers on that site!
